Vanessa Maurer, M.S., CCC-SLP
Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist
Vanessa graduated from West Virginia University in 2012 with a Master of Science in Speech Pathology. Vanessa has experience working with children and adults with various speech, language, feeding, and swallowing needs. She has worked in a variety of settings, including schools, outpatient clinics, private practice clinics, and skilled nursing facilities. She is passionate about helping kids with speech, language, and feeding needs.

​Vanessa has experience in clinical settings in West Virginia, Ohio, Maryland, and Georgia. She was born and raised in Toronto, OH, and has moved back to the area. She considers herself proud to be from the Ohio Valley. She founded Hometown Pediatric Solutions to provide services to families in her community. Her goal is to bring a much-needed set of services to her local community.

Vanessa actively holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). She was awarded the renowned Award for Continuing Education (ACE) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association for her dedication to professional learning in 2022 and 2025. Vanessa is trained in a variety of research-based therapy methods, including PROMPT, Dynamic Temporal & Tactile Cueing (DTTC), Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP), and Feed the Peds.

Vanessa is currently covering a local public school and private school contract, as well as covering at the office as needed. Vanessa is married with 3 young children. In her free time, you can find her with her family or at a local coffee shop.

Audrey Meininger, M.S., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Audrey graduated from West Liberty University in 2024 with a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology. Audrey actively holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). She was trained in Feed the Peds in 2025.
She is passionate about helping children develop speech, language, and feeding skills. She enjoys trying new restaurants with family and friends and going on walks with her pup in her free time. Audrey is full-time with Hometown and splits between clinic and school contracts.

Taylor Hawthorne, M.S., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Taylor graduated from Baldwin Wallace University in 2019 with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. She has been a practicing SLP in the school setting. Taylor actively holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). She loves playing a meaningful role in each child’s growth as they develop their communication skills.
When she is not working, she enjoys going to the movies, concerts, and spending time with friends. Taylor is part-time with Hometown and sees kids in the evenings.

Annie Renzelli, M.S., CFY-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Annie graduated from West Liberty University in 2025 with a Master of Science in Speech Pathology. Annie is completing her Clinical Fellowship Year post-graduation (CFY-SLP). She is passionate about helping children communicate confidently and connect with the world around them. Annie loves creating fun, engaging sessions that support each child’s unique strengths and needs.
When she is not working ,you can find her with her husband and son or in line at Clear Creek to get her favorite coffee. Annie is full-time at Hometown and sees kids at the Clinic and our local Head Start.

Megan Wells, M.S., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Megan graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2018 with a Master of Science in Speech Pathology. Megan actively holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). She worked in elementary schools in the greater Cincinnati/ Dayton area for several years.
Now she loves to call Steubenville home. In her free time, she enjoys reading, running, and traveling with her husband and two little girls. Megan is part-time with Hometown and sees kids at a school and our local Head Start.

Ashynne Clendenen, MSOT, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Ashlynne graduated from Gannon University in 2020 with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. She is passionate about helping children develop functional skills through play.
She loves watching Notre Dame and Tennessee games with her husband and son. Ashlynne is part-time with Hometown and sees kids at the clinic.

Kristi See, COTA
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Kristi graduated in 2002 from ICM School of Business and Medical Careers with an Associate's degree in Science of Occupational Therapy. She has pediatric and geriatric experience in a variety of settings. She holds a license in PA, OH, and WV. She is dedicated to helping each child reach their full potential. Kristi is president of the Touchdown Club at her local school district.
In her free time, she enjoys her farm and taking care of many animals, including her blind horse, Iggy. Kristi is part-time at Hometown working in the afternoons/evenings.

Jamie Fogle
Billing Specialist and Office Scheduler
Jamie takes care of all billing and scheduling needs at the office. Jamie came to us after 28 years in the medical fieldShe works part-time at Hometown.
She lives in Cadiz and has four grown children and grandchildren. She enjoys camping, boating, and spending time with her family. She is also referred to as the “office mom.”

Kelly Magnani
Clinical Care Coordinator
Kelly graduated in 2011 from Zane State College as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. She worked for Easter Seals in local schools. She has worked in the following school districts: Harrison Hills, Buckeye Local, and Steubenville City Schools.
She retired as a treating clinician in 2024. She wanted to remain connected to her pediatric roots in some capacity, so she found a home at Hometown. Kelly currently does all of our clinical coordination with insurance carriers to help ensure that our kids get the help they need. Kelly is married with 3 grown ladies. She has a passion for all things decorating, especially Christmas trees!
